Kay Duclos Named Seton Health's 2009 Volunteer of the Year
TROY, N.Y. – Seton Health hosted its annual Volunteer Luncheon, honoring the many volunteers who give their time and commitment to the organization. The highlight of the luncheon was the Volunteer of the Year Presentation naming Kay Duclos, a Gift Gallery Volunteer, as the 2009 recipient.
Duclos, of Troy, has been a volunteer with Seton Health since 1998 and is very involved in many Auxiliary events. Duclos utilizes her creativity and delicate detail in creating made-to-order floral arrangements to be sold in the St. Mary’s Hospital Gift Gallery at a reasonable price.
“We are extremely lucky to have such a hard-working and creative ‘Angel’ working behind the scenes, showcasing her talents and working to help make our Gift Gallery the success that it is”, said Colleen Roche, Manager of Community Education and Volunteers. “Seton Health is very proud and grateful of all the hard work Kay and her fellow volunteers do each and every day.”
